SUMENEP, (Transmadura.com) –
Karyawan Kapal Layar Darma Bhakti Sumekar (DBS) I dan III milik PT Sumekar Kabupaten Sumenep mogok kerja. Pasalnya, semua karyawan menuntut PT Sumekar 9 bulan karyawan tidak digaji.
“Kami mogok kerja sudah satu bulan, sebab hak gaji 9 bulan tidak dibayar, karyawan kapal dan karyawan darat, dari PT Sumekar 5 bulan, dari kapal 3 bulan” kata salah satu karyawan Kapal DBS I, EC inisial.
Menurutnya, tidak digajinya karyawan itu, penjelasan dari pihak PT Sumekar sebagai pengelola dengan alasan sudah tidak mampu untuk membayar gaji karyawan.
Pihaknya menegaskan, tetap akan mogok kerja, kalau hak gaji mereka tidak terbayar, sebab gaji itu sebagai biaya hidup keluarganya.
“Kami mengharapkan gaji untuk menghidupi keluarga, sehingga tetap akan mogok kerja sampai gaji terpenuhi,” ungkapnya.
Namun pihaknya menjelaskan, saat ini posisi kapal DBS III sedang ngedok di Surabaya untuk dilakukan perbaikan, akan tetapi pihak pengedok mengambil baling baling kapal dengan alasan karena pihak PT Sumekar sudah tidak mampu bayar.
“Baling baling diambil oleh pihak pengedok Surabaya, yang sebelumnya sudah naik saat ini sudah diturunkan kembali ke laut karena tidak ada biaya,” ngakunya.
Sehingga, dengan begitu, PT Sumekar mempertimbangkan nasib para karyawan Kapal untuk membayar gaji.
“Ini pastinya nantinya penumpang yang menjadi korban telantar, akibat tidak konsisten PT Sumekar membayar gaji karyawan,” harapnya.
Sementara, Direktur PT Sumekar, Syaiful Bahri, tidak merespon saat dikonfirmasi melalui sambungan telepon selulernya untuk diminta keterangan terkait masalah tersebut.
